Not entirely. The gun isn't thick enough, and the thing where the bullets are kept swings out sideways on that one; for Vash's gun the entire forward end swings downwards.

Yes, Vash's gun is a breach loader auto extractor like the Smith And Wessen Naval 38 anf .45 of the 1880's
