Would you be willing to pay $40 to play a computer game on a tabletop board?
'Ai! ai!' wailed Legolas. 'A Balrog! A Balrog is come!'
Gimli stared with wide eyes. 'Durin's Bane!' he cried, and letting his axe fall he covered his face.
'A Balrog,' muttered Gandalf. 'Now I understand.' He faltered and leaned heavily on his staff. 'What an evil fortune! And I am already weary.'
- J.R.R Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
Probably, but if it's anything like the game it's based on then no.
I'd much rather play a board game with my friends than play a computer game with strangers over the internet. Same way I'd much rather play a table top RPG than a computer one (though I've never played a PBEM so I can't comment on them)

Its really not that hard to meet up with friends online to play a game like Warcraft III. I doubt more then a hundred people will buy a table top War3, and all of them will be collectors hoping to resell the game unopened fifteen years down the line.

Warcraft on table top? Sounds a bit like Warhammer.
