I am left handed, but that doesn't stop me from doing a lot of tasks with my right hand, as long as it doesn't require a lot of very fine dexterity (like writing). I use a mouse with my right hand, write and use most types of tools with my left, but everything else is more or less up for grabs for either.

I use my right mostly for the mouse(NOT a euphemism). However, my left-handedness has helped me practice cutting with user-unfriendly scissors.

I'm right-handed, but have always wished I was left-handed. Lefties are supposed to be more creative, and in my mind, that always made them cooler than righties. Plus I always wondered what crazy ideas I could come up with if I was more creative than I already am.

I write with my left.

I play sports with my right.

I *can* play most sports with my left, but I can't write with my right.

I use either hand equally well for the mouse. I switch every other day to give my other hand a break.

Hm I think it doesn't matter which eye you use when holding a gun. I can't see shit with my right eye either and still I can align my right hand with my left eye with no problem.

It's probably because nearly all the left-handed SDnetters are voting compared to only a few right-handed ones. Right-handed people probably find the subject more mundane than left-handed people who are used to being different. I'm left-handed (mainly just for writing) by the way.

In the past few months, I've had to switch to the left hand. A severe pinched-nerve condition largely crippled my right hand and the arm to a lesser extent. Being an artist, this situation was extremely inconvenient to say the least. However, I've been able to teach myself to draw and write with the left hand and have progressed to the point where I'm almost as good now with the left as I ever was with the right. Recently, I've been regaining a bit more strength and control in the right to where I can write a legible signature once more and am starting to get back the artistic touch in the hand as well. So when I'm fully recovered, I may turn out quite ambidextrous.
