Has an American president ever addressed Parliament? I'm not aware of any.

Put it this way, PM Question Time can be a hoot. The BBC's Parliament Channel (I shit you not) is actually worth existing when there is a heated debate over how much tax should be added to 1st class stamps.

From his point of view, it's probably for the best, better to look like a wuss now than recieve probably the biggest heckling and walkout session that he's ever likely to face in front of the entire British people and foreign newspapers.
