Best Star Wars fighter

Post by Sarevok »

My favorite is the X-Wing. It looks very cool and streamlined compared to the other Rebel fighters. The X-Wing is the best Star Wars fighter ever !
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.

E-wing is my favourite, even though it isn't the best.

I'll take B-wing any day. I've got TIE Defender kills painted on my B-wing's hull in X-Wing: Alliance. :D It rocks.

The B-wing is pretty snazzy, and is my second favourite Rebel starfighter. I choose an X-wing though, it just has a nice balance of all the things you'd want and need - maneouvrability, speed, weaponry. Not too heavy, not too light. :D

X-Wing, hands down. It's the hot-rod among starfighters.

I'll take an E-wing. It's quick enough for my tastes, and it has 16 topedoes to make my heavy thumb very happy.

I've always had problems picking a favorite fighter. There is something about almost every one of them that I really like, be it performance, firepower, or just plain looks. I could go though a whole list of the fighters and what I like about them, but I'm too tired right now, maybe tomorrow.

TIE Advanced, with the tractor beam, for catching those pesky Defenders.

TIE Advanced (also called Avenger). That shielded, fast, hyperdrive-equipped and to the teeth armed fighter is the deadliest thing ever seen. I killed X-Wings left and right with it.
The Defender comes a bit behind as the 2nd favourite.

And I like the T-A because Maarek Steele also flies one.

A-Wing

Very fast, very maneuvrable (or is it maneuverable?), but lightly armed, shielded, and armored.

Nive for hit and fade attacks though :)

Does the Skipray Blastboat count as fighter? If so, that's my vote.

Missle Boat. Fast as avenger, more torps than an E-Wing and just to damn cool.

My fave is the X-Wing or TIE Interceptor.

I like the designs for both...though for sheer killing purposes, the TIE Defender is unmatched.

I've always liked the B-wing myself, although Y-wings have a very cool design.

I'm an Imperial through and through so i'd pick the Tie Defender. As well armed as a B-Wing but with the classic TIE design.

Actually with the SLAM you could go well past a TIE Defender's top speed (Based on TIE Fighter).

I could get the Defender to ~273MGLT, with all power to engines.

The Missile Boat, with all power to engines, SLAM's on and constantly transfering shield energy to lasers could eventually reach 400MGLT+

A-Wing MkII. It has all the fun of the A-Wing's speed plus it has the variable arc cannons for extra fun. I've just enjoyed the ability to get into and out of a scrap quickly which is what the A-Wings were built for.
