"The first and third fleets are preped and ready?"

"They are ready to launch to the occupied sectors of the Azegart Empire"

"Good. As soon as the sector is pacified we can begin gaining some resources from it."

The emperor turned to a holoprojector

"What's the status of the naval build up?"

"We're producing about fifty new capital ships a year, and our training programs have been increased by several months."

"Contact the other members of the Grand Alliance, tell them we wish to conduct joint manuvers."

"It's still better than let those religious freaks run their own state again. And well, if it doesn't work out, we destroy them, anyway. Just get the rebuilding operation going. Who knows? We might get something useful out of them in some years to come..." Gladstone smiled.

The small fleet, consisting of two construction ships, 2 gate ships, and a deployable outpost appeared above the former sector capital's, now-Protectorate, single gas giant. The outpost ship, basically a small floating city with a drive slapped on, immediately dove for the deep atmosphere of the deep-orange coloured world. It was now the sector's center of Stuartian control.

The gate ships began opening their gates, and as the Central Gate Command acknowledged the new gates, frigates, patrol ships, scores of fighters were pouring through, along with additional Fleet units.

The already present fleet ships deployed their fighters, and all units began to sweep the system clean of any still remaining Azegart units. The resistance was barely noticeable.

One Construction ship, began with the construction of a small orbital dock/Fortress in high orbit around the earth-like planet where the former Azegarte lived.

Larger fleet units began with orbital bombardments to erradicate any trace of military installations and equipment visible.
Transmissions were sent to the planets and all still serviceable com units on the ground cried out the new orders.
The planet was put under Martial law, and all resistance would be dealt with brute force.

Over the as-yet unnamed planet, the Solitaire was settling in. All along it's outer surface, prefabricated weapon and sensor systems were coming online, and a screen of warships were spreading out to defend the installation.

The Solitaire was the Alliance's primary spaceborne manufacturing facility. It was never unescorted, and was always closely accompanied by a fleet of Forgotten Hope class freighters. These held both raw materials and the spartan accomodations much of the OA's citizenry lived within.

The First and Third Fleets of the KSN emerged from hyperspace in the occupied zone. They immediatly broke up and took their assigned patrol routes and deployed troops to secure the colonies which were now under their control. Everywhere it was the same scene, ships arriving and deploying troops, then moving on to patrol the spacelanes.

"At our deepest displeasure we have to decline that offer. We need our industrial might to rebuild this new territory to our wishes, which is no easy task. We may have some spare parts and the like we could sell, though..."

Two of the many orbital fortresses were slowly towed out of their positions in the multi-shelled defense system, and slowly were brought to the Gate Hub to take up their new home around Aregath (ooc I just pick a system name for the newly captured Sector capital /ooc) as founding of orbital defense.

The smaller yards were busy producing more and more automated defense drones, patrol ships, and smaller frigates, along with the far larger "proper" fleet ships.

"I arrived on Brisbane two weeks ago. My kit was slipped through customs by Agent R/521, who had infiltrated herself three weeks previously. My safe house had been prepped by Agents K/444 and L/641. I prepared and checked my gear, and began surveillance of the target area.

"Over the next week, I observed the patrol patterns of the guards. Though well guarded, the Glass Palace had an antiquated security system. The simple laser and infrared sensors would be easy to defeat. After recording the movements of the palace guards and the scheduals of butlers and other such nontargets, via spy drone, I decided on a proper course of action to effect the operation.

"I made my move three days ago, at two hours past dawn (local time 18:00.) I infiltrated the palace, and avoided having to neutralize any nontargets. I had little trouble fooling the security systems with my kit.
The target (Queen Esmerelda Mackenzie) was attended by her son (Prince Jonathan Mackenzie) and two bodyguards. Since the target's son was a legitimate secondary target, I immediatly reassesed the situation.

"Using a chage of soma-gas, I neutralized all occupants of the Target's bedchamber. I then executed the primary target and one of the bodyguards, using the secondary target's ceremonial sword. I used a mind-purge on the second bodyguard, implanting him with a version of events in which the Prince killed the queen and her bodyguard, forcing him to shoot the prince. I then discharged five rounds from the surviving bodyguard's gun into the prince's body, and administered to the surviving bodyguard a soma-gas antidote and a poison which would kill him, as if by heart attack, in three or four days.

"I effected extraction undetected, and was booked passage on a Klingon merchantman that morning. I left Brisbane that day."

We are forming a security force, to be crewed by local citizens in order to better protect the territory that we have recently aquired. We have several ships slated to come off the production line for them, but because our efforts are concentrated on strenghtening our own defenses, it may not be for some time. If you have any old ships that we can take off your hands for a reasonable price, let us know.

The Independent Worlds League was the frontier, and like all frontier nations it had it's own unigue perosnality. The Federation was a loose organization of star nations, brought together by the UTR and held togther by mutual self interest and a need for a strong defense agaisnt external threats.

Lieutenant-Commander Groth of the Federation Navy was leading a squadron of UTR supplied fighters on a standard deep space patrol. Twelve Jaguar class heavy fighters with a mixed anti-ship/self defense loadout. Right now his ships were moving under S-Drive to the location of an emergency beacon.

"Alright guys. Command doesn't know what's going on. They picked up a distress signal from the IMV Raging Clam. The beacon is still going but the transmission signal itself cut out after only a few seconds. They want us to investigate and secure the site. TNS Athena is available as back up if we need it." Athena was a UTRN Heavy Cruiser assigned ot back up the FN until the FN had enough ships to handle it's own internal security requirements."

Like most Federation Navy officers and crewers Groth got along well with his counterparts from the UTRN and UTRDG. He, like many of his collegues, had served a transfer tour with the UTRN and Guard. "Sir, I've got something at long range." Thats was his point man flying lead. "Looks like about eight or nine medium strikebombers and a light tender against an independent freighter, probably the Clam."

"Alright people, stay with your wingmen, arm guns and hit them hard. I've got the tender, you guys take the strike craft. I'm gonna try to disable the tender so we can capture it. Break." At that command the twelve fighters broke into six groups, Groth and his wingman breaking off and heading for the tender. He quickly locked on with three swordfish light ASMs and ripple fired them into the engineering section of the tender. His wingman followed suit and that was it for the tender, it's shields collapsed the engines exploded and sensor reading showed it only had battery power remaining.

Suddenly the power levels spiked, and the tender blew up. "What the hell, they self destructed." He turned back to the dogfight going on but they're wasn't much for him to do. His ten fighters had quickly slaughtered the strikebombers designed for bombing runs and not dogfighting.

Post Action report released by IWF Naval Intelligence.

The post battle ananlysis of the incident involving fighter squadron 117 was very unusual. After actionr eports have founf something even odder. The tender and all fightercraft were piloted by Xenomorphs of the type three variation. This is the first known example of Xenomorphs using advanced technology and is very trooubling.

The KSN Xeno-hunter task force consisted of one dreadnaught, two battleships, three cruisers four frigates and three modified cruisers acting as sensors and electronic warfare ships. All the vessels had come off of a Krytosian assembly line two months earlier and were crewed by the best of the KSN academy's new recruits.

"Commander, We're receving a transmission from the "Interceptor" It's pretty garbled."

"Put it on speakers."

".....Repeat, Type three xen.... Can use advanced technology, Watch you ba...."

"Put all fleet units on full alert, how long until we've confirmed the location of the next Xenomorph hive?"

"About thirty minutes sir."

"So far, we are within projections. The Aregath system is so far clear of piracy or remaining Azegarte forces. The two forts we have transferred will go fully online in the next two days, the replacement forts are already nearing completion, and will be integrated in the defense grid in the next two weeks. The other systems are still a bit more problematic, and we have run in into some piracy and Azegarte remains. We have lost nearly a dozen patrol ships, and 15 frigates have been destroyed, and a Heavy cruiser has suffered minor damage. The defense drones perform as planned, though... The terminated crews are already in regrow, and will be expected to return to service in another two months. The planets are another matter, entirely. Karl, if you please?" he nodded to the stocky-built men in grey unifrom besides him.
The General of the Shareholder Security Ground Force Arm nodded back. "Our pacification attempts so far have been thwarted by an aggressive, xenophob populace. With the help of orbital striked we have prevented major outbreaks on the worlds, but they still are agitated. They accept our supplies, though. We have some encouraging reports from the Education camps, as well. It is still a hard, ardous work."
Gladstone looked at a note in her hand. "Losses?"
"Acceptable, so far. 5613 people so far have been terminated in assasination attempts, terrorist strikes and assorted other assaults. Most of those are in regrowth, and will be expected in servive in two months, as well. Unfortunately, 34 of those were unable to download the latest mind copy update to the central Datasphere hub, and so have to be restored to their latest copy. 4 marines are not recoverable, since they choose not to be regrown."

Gladstone listened to further reports. THis project was going to be a long project, indeed. But she was positive that she finally would see a fruitful outcome of this.

It is necessary that we put as many soldiers in the field as possible to ensure that civilians can earn their citizenship. To furthur that end, 1 billion Commonwealth Legionnaires are prepared to be shipped off to the Aregath system and surrounding planets, in concert with 5 million Peacekeeper pacification specialists.

If you can provide orbital fire support, we will provide troops and combat transports.

The PRC is announcing a prize system. For each pirate ship capture or verified to be destroyed, we will award a monetary prize dependant upon the ship size. A prize of a billion SKS crowns is to be awarded for a ship the size of a Black Alliance battleship, with prize money going down proportionally.

Commonwealth Legionnaires: Basic Information :

Legionnaires are heavy infantry, equipped with lightly powered armor and particle beam rifles with under-slung multipurpose launchers. They are Formed to be stronger and faster than regular humans. Legionnaires use a variety of crew-served weapons. Support includes VTOL strike craft, a variety of tanks and armored vehicles, artillary, and the ubiquitous hover-APC.

Also serving will be Commonwealth Cavalry, soldiers in very heavy power armor, and equipped with jumpjets and advanced stealth systems. Cavalry is excellent at offensive and flanking operations, and urban combat.

Peacekeepers are military police of the highest calibre. They are equipped with numerous lethal and nonlethal methods of putting down crowds, and ar trained in the arts of fighting against guerillas and rooting out sedition.

It should be noted that the Bushido conditioning of Commonwealth soldiers will keep them from purposefully killing civilians unless directly ordered to do so. Commonwealth soldiers will not break, due to their conditioning.

The majorty of the fleet prepared to enter hyperspace for an refit at Dorian. The taskforce formed around the Light Cruiser Haily Wayne pointed to a different direction. They headed towards the HAB and arrived much later.
