WH40K Fire Warrior for Xbox?

Post by buzz_knox »

Anyone heard if the Fire Warrior game is planned for release on Xbox, or will it remain an PS2/PC product?

Speaking of which, I saw it in the store the other day and I'm thinking of buying it. Does anyone have it yet?

Depending on the reviews of this game, I may pick up a PS2 later on.

I tried to played it, but I thought it was terrible. Auto-aim, ergh, and the graphics engine is terrible, despite my system being more than adequate to run it.

Was yours the PC version or the PS2? Another thread indicated problems with the PC version.

I thought I made it clear that it was the PC version. :? The part where I said "despite my system being more than adequate to run it".

It may have just been some game flaws, but even after patching up it was like eating hell.

Ah, okay. The game just seemed to run horribly for me, even when patched-up, the visuals were amazingly crap too. If I recall correctly, a ton of rocks sort of fell into a passage I wanted to go down, but instead of showing rocks falling in or something, a huge texture simply glided down into the passage. Horrid.

Hmm... well, 40K games have had a history of poor effects and graphics but good gameplay. I'd be mostly interested in the multiplayer anyways.

The patch is about as useful as a chocolate tea-pot. :( It was for me anyway, you might have better luck.
