Well, the Hirsch catalog is now out. Mostly. I still have a bunch of stuff to fill in.

Thirdfain? There never was an Azegart Alliance. The best thing we had was that we all agreed to attack at the same time, and not shoot at each other. There is no alliance between the PRC or the HAB existant. And I just decided to leave Aquarian space, you'd have had to do alot more to actually push me out.
Then again, that was all spoken by the notoriously distrustable TSC.

First of all, it's the Admiral's point of view, and may not be completely accurate. Secondly, I NEVER claimed there was an "Azegart Alliance." As for the "no alliance between the HAB and PRC," well, the Admiral is lumping you and the HAB in the same category. She thinks you will have an alliance soon enough, or at least will be in close co-operation.
This isn't from the TSC. This is from one military offficer of the TSC, and she happens to be quite swept away by the sylized view of Bushido and the Commonwealth, as are many Commonwealth naval officers.

Transfer is the easy part, at least easy in spotting the outgoing shipments and putting two and two together on their destinations. Actual sales are across heavily encrypted channels for buyer security reasons, although there are ways around that.Thirdfain wrote:Crazy9000, would it be reasonable to say that Commonwealth intelligence would be able to detect the sale and transfer of heavy military hardware by Quaynar Industries?

Well, he's not buying from Quaynar at any rate. I have no problems with you learning about the shipping, but the Corporate Sector is rather paranoid about ELINT. Corporate intelligence and all that.Thirdfain wrote:Alright. So transfer, at least, would be pretty simple. I'm just curious as to whether or not I would know about Sea Skimmer's purchases.
Although, I dunno, you could try HUMINT.

I suppose that would be possible, although since it's actually a giant overcorporation, I don't think it's exactly necessary. CorpSec credits would be more for internal use only.phongn wrote:I had assumed the Corporate Sector issued their own currency.

Kinda like internal scrip like the old miners used out West? OTOH, the CorpSec is essentially their own polity and having their own control over currency has its advantages.Crayz9000 wrote:I suppose that would be possible, although since it's actually a giant overcorporation, I don't think it's exactly necessary. You can take your rehash of the Euro and shove it, the SKS Credit is the true international standardThirdfain wrote:Hey, Crazy, maybe you should start using the CPS Credit? The only TRUE international currency...
The Terran Dollar is the most stable currency in known space, with a long history of consistency without the occasional fluctuations of the SKS Credit.phongn wrote:You can take your rehash of the Euro and shove it, the SKS Credit is the true international standardThirdfain wrote:Hey, Crazy, maybe you should start using the CPS Credit? It is also worthless outside of Terran space.Kyle wrote:The Terran Dollar is the most stable currency in known space, with a long history of consistency without the occasional fluctuations of the SKS Credit.

Even if it did, it's way over the point where splitting becomes nearly impossible.phongn wrote:@#$*()#$, I wish phpBB supported post/thread merge like vBB; I'd clean up the main thread then.

No, they did not. Those were ligitimate members of Alyrium's armed forces. I'm talking about the Rogues Nitram Engeneered

They were illegal combatants because they don't have any sort of visible distinguishing characteristic. As such, it's a bit tough to call them legitimate members of his forces.Darksider wrote:phongn wrote:They depopulated an entire planet and then spread offworld.Darksider wrote:OOC: And exactly how many people have the rogue Xenomorphs killed?

What a shame the media doesn't know that the Alliance is doing anything, and that they treat the whole thing as one event, huh? The Xenomorphs have that little bio-attack trumped by orders of magnitude, of course it's going to be front page news.Darksider wrote:phongn wrote:They depopulated an entire planet and then spread offworld.Darksider wrote:OOC: And exactly how many people have the rogue Xenomorphs killed?
