Post by Warspite »

What the hell is this file? It has a teddy bear as an icon, and when I delete it it keeps coming back? What is this?

I've always wondered... what led them to use a freakin' teddy bear? Out of all the icons they could use, why a teddy bear? It doesn't seem like a "normal MS thing", which helps let the E-Mail hoax spread, I think.

The choice of a teddy bear for an icon is unusual. It is not something you'd expect in an OS from microsoft.

These hoax's certainly have a long life. They go around and around.

And this is why Window File Protection is a good thing. Since you cant hose the OS by deleting/altering files you shouldnt.

And it only kicks in went the files are changed, so it doesnt make a difference to your preformance.

Here's a tip. If an e-mail tells you to delete something, no matter what it is or who it came from....DON'T!
