if you need to feed your baby in public have a formula bottle or something. what happens if some 5 year old kid walks by and sees it? is it acceptable just because she's feeding her baby? does that make it okay that it's not her husband thats sucking her tits in public? and what about the rest of us that probably don't want to see it?

Oh, indeed. Not comparable to Mackie D's in terms of quality. BK actually tastes good, has decent fries and good selection. Don't know about the US, but the burgers most definitely are flame grilled and there's no microwaved lettuce.

I've seen them. They assemble the burger and then throw it in the microwave, condiments, lettuce, paper and all.

Although their fries and breakfast stuff is at least good-tasting.

Sorry, but breastfeeding may be absolutely appetising for infants, but it's not something I want to watch in a restaurant. Not that I would try to stop someone from feeding a hungry baby, but I rate it about as appealing as someone blowing their nose at the table.
Also, just because I'm squeamish about it, doesn't mean I feel it should be hindered. I just get a *yuck* reaction to it.

Imagine this, the parent pays attention to all the news hype going round at the moment about baby formula and all the problems it causes for the child, and how breast feeding is a hell of a lot better for them, and so chooses not to use baby formula. So, she's in burger king eating her lovely meal delicious highly nutritiou flame grilled burger. The baby starts crying... nothing wrong with the diaper, must be hungry... is she supposed to ignore the child? of course not, thats bad parenting...

meanwhile the other customers are getting aggrevated.. which are you going to find more annoying, a baby screaming blue murder cos its hungry... or the silence that results from the mother actually feeding the child?

Funny thing, when i was a baby for some reason i refused to nurse off a bottle. Care to consider that not all babies enjoy suckign on a piece of rubber?

That's odd cos that's not how you're supposed to make them. you're taught the most efficient and balanced way to do it. You get one of the flame-grilled burgers from their stewing trays or whatever they're called, put that on the bottom bun, start that microwaving to make sure it's cooked, then with the top bun upside down on the wrapper, you layer up all the salad (with the tomatoes on the bottom), the microwave dings and you take the bottom bun out. Then you put the bottom bun in front of the top bun, put the ketchup on the burger, then grab the top bun and put it on the bottom bun, then wrap it up. Woo! you just made a whopper!

Oy, i worked there a week and got that ingrained on my mind, as well as the horrors of the broiler gunk.

Although their fries and breakfast stuff is at least good-tasting.

Plus it's possible to get turbocoke when you work there, seperate the coke syrup from the carbonated water via this little nozzle thing, that stuff keeps you going on closes.
