UofM vs OSU, 2003 Edition!

It's the big one folks. In the Big House no less. Place your bets for this years border battle of epic proportions! The winner: a trip to the Rose Bowl and a shot at the national championship. The loser: some shitty bowl game that nobody cares about.

OVERVIEW:
Well folks, it's been a good year for Ohio State in the 4th quarter; they've won most of there game by no more than one touchdown. Some say it's luck, but anyone who has really studied them all year long knows that they make their own luck. Things to watch for: Ohio's rushing defense. If Michigan can work around that, this games in the bag.

On the flip side, Michigan has had a solid year. Except for a division loss and a Big Ten loss, their record is spotless. Plus, Chris Perry is an absolute madman: 100+ rushing yards for practically every game this season.

KEEP YOUR EYE ON:
Chris Perry As said before, can run that ball up and down the field like nobody's business.
Edwards A rock solid receiver, you can count on Navarre to pass it to him on 3rd downs. And even in tight spots he manages to get open in the clear.
Woodson He'll sack the opposing QB before he has time to shit himself.
Navarre Naturally, the QB is the one who it all comes down to. Don't count on him to throw any interceptions or get sacked too often; and don't expect him to make any long-range risky plays. When it comes right down to it, Navarre likes a straight-up old fashioned passing game where the receiver isn't more than a dozen yards ahead of him.

FINAL OUTCOME
This will be the closest damn game in history. Right down to the last seconds of the 4th, you're gonna have to keep glued to the screen to know who'll win.

Now call me biased, but I suspect that this year Michigan walks away with the victiory. Final score: 27-23

Well, i'm hoping for Ohio, being I live there and all. We've had a bit of fun in school with one of my teachers from last year, she was born in Michigan, and is a HUGE fan of them. Last year, our class made a bet with her, and when Ohio won, we had no homework for a week.

The Second Year in a row i've been denied a Rose Bowl worthy of my participation in some way shape or form. GO TROJANS! THE VICTOLY BELL IS RED AGAIN!

Three Cheers to the University of Northern Iowa Panthers for their Gateway Conference Title and who now look forward to kicking the shite out of some competition in the Playoffs.

Saddleback College (My current Skewl) Lost the National Bowl (a first round playoff game for the local juco league with a fancy title) by a failed PAT. One would think "we'll that's what you get for blowing PATs but the truth of the matter is they were up 20-7 in the 3rd quarter. Seeing as how the Saddelback Gauchos carry the same hated "Go logo as The HAted Green Bay Packers and Not nearly as hated Georgia Bulldogs I am inclined to root against them anyway.
