I think my desire to make a topic about this started when they didn't report Bush admitting that there was no connection between Saddam and BIn Laden. Conveniently ignoring what doesn't fit into their world view.

Plus the site owner's insistence that they don't list someone as a halfwit for disagreeing with the Bush administration, that there are other requirements they have to meet, yada yada, but theyr bach any public figure who disagrees even the slightest with the Bush administration,

Coming back to this, reading a few more topics over there makes me extremely glad this board is as reasonably moderated as it is. You couldn't get away posting a twentieth of the shit they post over here...

Actually, Hitler (as well as Mussolini) drew a lot of inspiration from Vladimir Lenin.

On the other hand, Hitler received a lot of support from corporate executive during his election so he can't be that far out to the left.

I recall reading about Henry Ford receiving some sort of German military medal during the 1930s. But which other american capitalists supported Hitler.... other than Henry Ford and (of course) those in the weapons industry?

The NAZI party was actually based on alot of leftist beliefs. Some parts of it were extremely right, some where extremely left (Judging from US politics today). The actual name of the NAZI part was "National Socialist German Workers Party".
