Raziel vs Arthas

Ok, Raziel in one of the Soul Reaver games, complete with soul reaver, vs Arthas complete with frostmourne, in his evil form.

They both fight, who wins?

Oh. I was thinking of a different Raziel. The one I was thinking of would hand Arthas his ass. But different one. Hmm. I'd say Arthas.

Edit: Wait, do you mean Arthas as a Death Knight, or while he's still a paladin?

Unless Rye has edited his post, "vs Arthas complete with frostmourne, in his evil form." means Death Knight Arthas.

On the actual battle, I have no idea who the other one is, so I cannot say.

Raziel.

Arthas proves himself quite hard, but Raziel is a badass of legendary proportions. Unless Arthas can somehow project onto the Ethereal plane, he can never, ever defeat Raziel, as he can't be destroyed on the Material plane, just corporeally inconvenienced.

Well Raziel uses a reanimated corpse as a material vessel after his break with the Elder God, and to my knowledge there's really no way to destroy him. Sure you can annihilate his physical body but he can just get a new one.

No, but how useful is that power without a corpse around? Now what Razeil can do is dependant on the game we take him from. Although its a curbstomp from the first game on. Even if we were to take him from the very bigining of the first game with no extra powers he is still multi-ton strenght and moving like (not as fast, but like) spiderman as shown in the Defaince cutscenes. The father we go from that we get TK, force blasts, fire blasts, sonic attacks, different reaver attacks, ect.

Eh, Soulreaver is good, but its not really any better than Frostmourne. Its not especially powerful, as fantasy swords go.

I take it you haven't played Defaince yet? Although thats more of the Reaver in general than just the Soulreaver. And Soulreaver by itself certainly does more by Defaince than Frostmourne.

He can't be destroyed in the spectral realm either, if you are killed in either soul reaver game there (I even jumped into the Abyss once) you dissipate and reform nearby.
