I'll be 25 in 6 months. I only need to shave once a week and I still haven't grown a beard yet. Still hairless as a baby below my lips. This is why my ID still gets checked every single time at the liquor store.Tsyroc wrote:I was just thinking. With all of the people here who've mentioned being too young to shave or shave much I was thinking back to when I started. I know I was shaving every day by the time I was 16 but before that I shaved every now and then when I started high school, back in 1983 (when I was 14)
As I said earlier, I can't even use stuff for *extra* sensitive skin..PeZook wrote:Have you tried looking for some special brand for allergics? I could bet my ass someone out there is selling stuff like that.verilon wrote:You know, I kind of envy all you guys that aren't allergic to shaving cream.

It's really easy if you're careful. Hold the blade at about 30-50° angle to your skin and scrape it across your face. Adjust the angle as needed to get a closer or more comfortable shave, the angle depends on how the blade is sharpened. It takes a bit of practice but as long as you don't slice yourself you'll be fine.Ligier wrote:I don't know how to use a straight razor, though.
That's just it... I can't use them because they're razors, partly.. Something about them doesn't feel right.. and they shave too close for me, most of the time, besides.Gandalf wrote:You don't need shaving cream. I use a Gilette Mach III. Every few days though. Never going back to electric.
I never realised how popular the Mach 3 was till now. Only problem with razors is their damn expensive. Consider yourself lucky there Ver.Durran Korr wrote:Mach 3, usually every three days. I usually come out bleeding at least a little bit, because I hate chin stubble.
True that.. only have to buy parts once a year.Dorsk 81 wrote:I never realised how popular the Mach 3 was till now. Only problem with razors is their damn expensive. It's a dilapatory for extra sensetive skin.verilon wrote:As I said earlier, I can't even use stuff for *extra* sensitive skin..PeZook wrote:Have you tried looking for some special brand for allergics? I love the mach III. I find I can hold out changing the blade for 2 or 3 weeks (I shave every other day.)KrauserKrauser wrote:Gilette Mach 3 for me. No shaving cream either it always made shaving into too much work for my tastes, not that I shave that often anyway.
How often do you guys replace your blades because I always feel I use the first ones out way to fast and then delay till the possible minute buying the replacements.
I wouldn't mind that problem. Being harry blows.aerius wrote:I'll be 25 in 6 months. I only need to shave once a week and I still haven't grown a beard yet. Still hairless as a baby below my lips. This is why my ID still gets checked every single time at the liquor store.
