Just keep it in line with the rest of the declarations, and give me a bit to deliberate on it once posted.

No problem, discussing with phongn right now. May be able to post later tonight about my race if I can.

I'm going to do two more size charts maybe this weekend if I have enough time -- although I have a Calc II test coming up Monday.

The first one is going to be from 1 to 10km, and the second will be from 10 to 100km. Since I don't think anyone is going to be fielding ships >100km in this STGOD for a while, there's no need for anything larger yet.

The 1-20km chart is going to remain that way as a sort of in-between chart.

A friend of mine cooked up a battleship designs so enormous they needed point defenses on the tips of there gun barrels....to keep fighters from flying and fighting inside them in-between salvos. He was a bit insane I think, but I still borrow the design for my writing time to time.

Actually, I probably need something similar for Confederation, the spacing between the gun barrels is non-trivial.

I wonder what would happen if someone brought the Phallus into this...

That's different then actually having small craft side of the barrel shooting up the rifling and trying to detonate the next shell as its loaded.

There is no way in hell that I am making a map on the 100,000km scale. Although presumably Dice's worldship is still around...

The Sixth Imperium is still out there somewhere too, but I think they gave up on the Milky Way.

Actually, it might be possible on my ships, though it'd not be a fun proposition.

Chart updated again. I'll probably make the smaller scale and larger scale charts tonight or tomorrow.

The premier heavy unit of the new civilization I'm created for when I rejoin the STGOD (after finals). I can put up the pics for the other three classes when I get them done.

No, they're not. They do contain the ship's drive but they're a system akin the Minbari electromagnetic/gravetic drives.

Of course the whole over all is Culture-verse tech.

I thought that was barely operational?

Culture level abilities are WAY beyond even the strongest powers in the STGOD.

Yes, the GSV is basically duct taped together.

I don't really care what tech basis you use for your stuff, as long as what you can do remains in line with everyone else. I will be checking over Storm's stuff to make sure it's not fantabulously better than everyone.

They're suitably armored and are fairly well integrated into the hull so they won't be much more vulnerable than the rest of the hull.

And I've run my tech by SirNitram and he hasn't said no.

I did send you the stuff on the basic tech. You didn't comment so I assume it's okay. It's comparable to similar technologies of the other powers.

As I'm feeling compelled to contribute something, here's my design for the flag ship. The drive pods produce intense gravity fields (which I tried to visualize. I can't draw shit, so sue me  ), so under drive, the aft part completely is not only shielded, but covered in intense gravity fields...

The other ship classes look basically the same, only with just one Torch.

Well, if it helps, he's not the only person who had that as his first thought upon seeing the ship. :P
