I would love to see some PETA people in my High School...though it's unlikely. My 'interaction' with them would probably be worth video taping.
Does anyone remember the Vegan 'fad' that was around like, 2 years ago? Maybe it was just around my school.

Gather some friends and make some posters supporting PETA with information that opposes it. Like those teens did during the war protests with posters like "Besides ending slavery, facism, and communism, war never solved anything!".
Like that mule deer reservation set up by teddy rosevelt that exsploded to I think 60,000 and then dropped by several tens of thousands over one winter due to starvation.

I don't, I could do without any more groups wandering round OSU campus trying to tell me what to do, the rambling 'you're all going to hell' Christians are bad enough, I kept having to resist the urge to make signs with 'What ever you do, have a nice day' written on them and stand next to them handing out pieces of paper with 'Don't Panic' written on them.

You'll have to bring a microscope, instad. You'll need it to find a conservative. We have none. But we do have 3 (!) socilaist/communist organizations (the most hilarious one being the Young Communists League). Also, we have those Bring the Troops Home rallies every day.Einhander Sn0m4n wrote:LMFAO!!! Excellent work, fgalkin!!!
Next up, Smacking Down Gaybashers, I hope? (bring your baseball bat :evil )
Have a very nice day.

Where do they hang out? A couple of my friends told me about them but I haven't seen them so far.The_Lumberjack wrote:I don't, I could do without any more groups wandering round OSU campus trying to tell me what to do, the rambling 'you're all going to hell' Christians are bad enough, I kept having to resist the urge to make signs with 'What ever you do, have a nice day' written on them and stand next to them handing out pieces of paper with 'Don't Panic' written on them.
Besides, what if the "You're going to hell!" group and PETA were to clash? That would be classic.

I'm still waiting for them to show up at Memphis. I'm sure the local fast food restaurants would definitely appreciate the huge increase in business. I know plenty of people that would order the biggest burger they can, only to drive down to the PETA camp and munch on their lunch.

I find it honestly amusing that you never see the PETA in West Virginia... unless it's the group that follows the circus around, trying to close them down.
Honestly, with deer season in full swing, you'd think you'd see the PETA/Vegan protesters everywhere in the Capitol City....
Oh course, most of the Capitol workers are in the woods, hunting bucks....

Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

A tip for the next time you encounter the PETA:
Remind them of the fact that plants are living organisms, just like animals. Some people can't just see the wood for the trees. (no pun intended)

I told them so. They said that plant's don't feel pain, so it's okay to kill them.Simon H.Johansen wrote:A tip for the next time you encounter the PETA:

So gas them, and toss them on the grill for Hit Man. Hey, its ok to do it since they won't feel any pain.fgalkin wrote:I told them so. They said that plant's don't feel pain, so it's okay to kill them.

Wasn't there a study that actually showed that plants felt pain? Like there would be a little twitch or something when you chopped part of it off. While it's not like the emotion, it is a response to stress.Vertigo1 wrote:So gas them, and toss them on the grill for Hit Man. Woo! The Axe-man is back. That was some cool shit, you should ask them if they would have a threesome for you to abstain from meat for a month. If not, they clearly don't care enough about the animals.
Also: it would probably be worth saying that animals in farms have relatively nice longer lives than their wild counterparts and are unlikely to get eaten alive by packs of wild dogs and the like.
Also, like you said, ask them what would happen to all the animals if humans stopped eating meat, we couldn't release them all because the environment would be fucked, can't sell them because they make bad pets and serve no other purposes, etc.

They have a chemical nervous system that senses injury. It was cool the way they proved it too, they spiced a uv-reactive gene of a jellyfish into the plant then touched it and left it under UV light and eventually the pressurised area glowed up.Crazy Goji wrote: Wasn't there a study that actually showed that plants felt pain? Of interest, I would indeed give up meat for a girl... but only one girl... and she said this of it:
"lol it's not evil. i don't care... but for a relationship it's a darn sight easier if people eat the same kind of food"
She's not an animal saving vegitarian... in fact I have seen her eat chicken... but after that she starts getting indigestion and then after spending too much time, er, in the bathroom. she gets tired and falls asleep... it's pretty cute too.
She's also rather sensitive to caffine in a bad way also. so no coffee (I don't drink coffee anyway) or coke or pepsi or chocolate or V or tea or... yeh
If someone tells me killing a cow is evil, I'll call them a bloody cow.
