I knew it was possible to beat SMB3 in a relatively short time if you used the warp whistles to reach world 8 ASAP, but I didn't think you could do it in 11 minutes. The part where he/she got several dozen 1-ups by jumping on the cannonballs in those tank levels was unbelievable as well. They probably had to memorize a lot of stuff and flawlessly execute their strategy as well.

That was kind of cool. Not only is it SMB3 in 11 mintues. It's SMB3 in 11 minutes with 99 lives left at the end.

I remember trying to do shit like that. The adrenaline rush made the immense frustration at screwing up worth it. Of course, this person is just incredible. Those reflexes are drilled-into-the-brain automatic. And I can't imagine the frustration at getting half way through and being grabbed by the hands!

I used to routinely make it to the water world without getting hit or losing a life. My muscle memory had the entire route through 1-1 mapped out so that I only had to look at the screen for where to take off on the first jump.first
