It's too early to get first results.

Here we have a rule, that to wait 100 days before reviewing how good or bad a newly elected political leader does his job.

Give him 100 too, what do you think?

He's still the governer-elect for the moment. He hasn't done anything pertaining to his gubernatorial administration yet.

Arnold has formed a transitition group which has a few high powered govt folks from California. The mayor of San Francisco is on that team. He cant really do anything till the hand over, but he did talk to Bush a few times. Which is more than Bush would do for Davis.

I heard today that Arnold and Davis are really cooperating well over the fires and the transition. Neither side is being viewed as playing politics, but working hard to get things done. I think this is a good thing. The fires are going to hurt the southland quite a bit. Im glad to see the various institutions working hard to help.

He did kill the 300% increase to the car tax. Thank goodness, I thought I may actually have to take out a small loan to just renew my registration. Now everyone is crying that he may have to cut some money from SOMEWHERE. Oh and he's handling a loan that the former governor had made that was technically illegal, past the legal amount from what I understand.

But in the end, he's had the job for a total of like three weeks. Give the guy AT LEAST 100 days to make an opinion one way or another. Then again, we give most of our politicians YEARS compared to what we expect from Arnold.

The easiest way to fix the California budget would be, in my opinion, to slim the Legislature's salaries. However, while that would probably win popular support, that would put the legislature at Arnold's throat.

I have a feeling that the Legislature will be at Arnie's throat regardless of wha he's done. There is no way he can make everyone happy.

My city gets most of its revenue from car taxes though :P

It's too soon to tell, but so far he hasn't done anything that's bad...
