Read the Announcements about this numbnuts ~ Stormbringer
Upon completion, I discover that they are in a format I have never even remotely seen before, ".opm" Firing this off into Google with a couple of other terms, I eventually get that it's some vague from of random video codec mixed Ogg/Vorbis(of all things... I thought that was a weird one, too), or something to that effect. I get ahold of "The DirectShow filter" (Filename: "OggDS0995.exe" it's about half a meg. It's also, apparently, a part of "Nimo's Codec Pack" Tried both, neither works) off of... somewhere. All of the sites blended together.
Now, for the weird part. The filter worked... for a day. Then Windows Media player died on me, and hasn't played the files since. (this behavior coming form my comp isn't unprecedented, I'm sad to say. Opengl died on my comp around 3 weeks after I got Warcraft III, a problem that I have been unable to fix. The first person who recommends dling new drivers for my video card will be getting Janeway/Seven of Nine bad-fic to their pm box. I've tried it, and I couldn't even find the proper drivers.)
Now, back to the point: Is there somebody out there nice enough to help me?
