Maybe a repetition of the avatar symbol faded and dull coloured in the background and a little bit of text overlayed? *shrug*

I droppered the color off of a screencap from my BSG DVDs, and it seems to be consistant with other sightings I've seen so I don't think it should be changed. Maybe it's just how the color appeared on camera. *shrugs*

As for the banner, I have to be honest and say I don't like it, but it is pretty good. :) Something about the huge, dominant text irks me.
