Is it me, or is the heavyweight division deader than a doornail? Let's have a look at the top fifteen from fightnews.com:

#1 - Lennox Lewis - Aging, fat, and rich. Looking for another payday or two before calling it quits.

#2 - Vitali Klitchko - Would Ali or Rocky Marciano have quit as Klitchko did against Chris Byrd?

#3 - Corrie Sanders - Got lucky in beating an overhyped fighter. Won't last long.

#4 - Wladimir Klitchko - Glass jaw.

#5 - Chris Byrd - Best in terms of pure skill, but too damned small.

#6 - David Tua - Too slow and plodding to ever beat a really good fighter.

#7 - Mike Tyson - Washed up.

#8 - Roy Jones - Too small to last, may stay at light heavyweight.

#9 - James Toney - Ditto, but not even as talented as Jones.

#10 - Fres Oquendo - Christ, who cares?

#11 - Hasim Rahman - Sucks.

#12 - Joe Mesi - Great White Hype.

#13 - Kirk Johnson - Sucks.

#14 - Juan Carlos Gomez - The cruiserweight? What's he done at heavy?

#15 - Dominick Guinn - Who?

probably yes. we don´t know how painful his injury was but we know that he wanted to continue against lewis when his eyebrow had an extremely deep cut squirting blood all over the ring. he´s not the woossy as he´s often appears to be portrayed as in the us, dr. noballs and crap like that.

klitschko is cool.

Oh please, Ali got his jaw broken in the 2nd round by Ken Norton, and finished the 15 round distance. Marciano won a fight after somehow having a nostril cut through. Even old Tommy "Rocky five" Morrison once won a fight with two broken hands.

That said, Klitchko opened up a can of whupass tonight. Nice to see all this hype result in a solid assbeating.

For those who weren't watching, Klitschko won by TKO on 2:53 of the second round. Totally dominated Johnson untill that point, too.

I watched it. Klitschko scares the fuck out of me. The guy is damn near ten feet tall and just beat the living shit out of that black guy.
