Anyone hearing about our sniper?

Post by Alan Bolte »

We've got a sniper case in Columbus that's been running a few weeks now. Mostly bullets are flying into cars driving through interstate 270. A few injuries and deaths, and the investigation is either very quiet or they don't have much to go on. They tried desparately to avoid calling it a sniper case until the past few days.

Yesterday CNN said that the Trucker's Union has asked all drivers who run that route to keep their eyes open.
CNN also mentioned that Malvo and Mohammed were caught in part to a trucker who spotted their van and told the police.

We had a sniper attack on some school buses.

With a BB gun!

Original Story

Arrest Made
Sheriff's detectives arrested an 18-year-old Evansville man who investigators say admitted firing an air rifle at four school buses Monday afternoon.

According to investigators, Brent A. Dillon, 18, of 1600 Uhlhorn St., said he shot a friend's Daisy Powerline 15XT BB gun some 70 times from his moving car "because he liked to shoot guns" and didn't care what he hit. Four Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corp. buses, without student passengers and all bound for Highland Elementary School at 6701 Darmstadt Road, were hit around 2:15 p.m. A passenger car was also struck, sheriff's deputies said.
Dumbshit.

Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."- General Sir Charles Napier

But a shitty one, so far only one person has been killed in a dozen plus cases.
