PG 1/60 Gundam GP01
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I couldn't really see a better one for model kits.
Has anyone bought the PG GP01 kit yet? I'm planning to buy it after Christmas, and am wondering what others thought of it.

I have the PG Wing Gundam Zero Custom (which was a beast to build, because I finished it in about a week), but if I was going to get another one, it would probably be the Gundam Mk. II, as it's less expensive (both kit-wise and shipping) than the GP01/Fb.
What I'm wondering is if you can only build it as either/or, or whether you can switch between them at any time once you're finished.

I believe in a sign of Zeta.

The GP01 looks pretty damned good.
I've got three perfect grades (Wing Zero Custom, RX-78-2, and Evangelion Unit 01 (which is lower-quality than a Master Grade Gundam kit). Sadly, all of them are in various states of disrepair. I need to replace RX-78-2's ankle polycaps, since they both split when I put the feet on the pegs. Eva-01's elbow broke when I was wedging the thing inside its body glove, and I managed to break some armor pegs when I tried to remove the torso glove to fix something else. WZC isn't actually broken, but I'm re-designing the battery pack because the stock version just sucks.
I've decided not to buy any more PGs until I actually finish my two Gundam PGs.

Mk II is impressive, though not quite as impressive. Looks nice in the Titan's colours though.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:I have the PG Wing Gundam Zero Custom (which was a beast to build, because I finished it in about a week), but if I was going to get another one, it would probably be the Gundam Mk. You can switch between GP01 and GP01Fb
Thats your problem that and opinion,Thousands of others would disagree with you though.Nathan F wrote:And? They're a heckuva lot more fun.
