450kg of explosives in one vehicle apparently.

It rushed the gates of a US base and despite the sentry putting 100+ rounds into it, it still went up.

Apparently it left a crater 5m DEEP when it blew and sent the engine block 250m.

It appears that the car bomb went off a considerable distance from any soldiers, and that most wounds where caused by flying glass, every window in the attack compund was blown out.

Well wiring up a couple big already fused military warheads is a bit easier then wiring up a huge pile of plastic explosive, as most terrorists have to do.

True, and one thing that irritates me is that Iraqi's know to stop at checkpoints. Its not like there were NO checkpoints under Sadaam or they can't recognize one for what it is.
