I get the feeling that a single "Goddamn!" is woefully insufficient to describe a reaction the BAR. I don't care how many exclamation points there are in the universe.

If that's the BAR, imagine what an MG-42 would do to someone. More powerful rounds at twice the ROF.

Can I infer from your post, Marcao, that you mean to dismount from the car before doing these things?

To alleviate XP allocating confusion about the new turn execution system I will now be posting what turn it is, starting from the day we started using the current system (Nov 25).

As soon as he had secured the clips he slid out of the vehicle, placing the helmet over his head before he reached for the G36 and closed the door. He then took a good look around the nearby roofs and windows seeking threats before sprinting to the corner of the block

That was in my previous post. Yeah, he is ditching the car and sprinting to the corner of the street and getting some cover before shooting. ^_^

4. Ernesto will fire at any hostile he sees with his G36 (preferring a three round burst per target or full auto on tight groups). He is packing AP rounds in all the magazines (one loaded, three spares). He is also still packing his revolver and two grenades (one WP and one standard). He is wearing his helmet and Kevlar wear (I am assuming fatigue pants are standard?)

that was from a previous post as well. I have not gotten any EFMJ rounds for my G36 as of yet. I will in the future, but right now all I am packing is indeed AP rounds. I have five clips of it.

Well, he's got a USAS-12 and there are people who need to get shot. Seems pretty clear cut to me :D

Don't worry about it Arthur, take your time. Mistakes will happen, especially when you are coordinating multiple posts. I have the luxury of just skimming over every post not my own. You do not. ^_^

Well yeah, there's really only one choice, but it was just so fun to type up Scenario 1

So now I am waiting for your character's buddy to answer my character's damn question. If Stavis isn't told where they're going soon, he may just have to take the 'gain a new car and two dead bodies' option.

I'm joking, but then again, is it possible for my character to also try to ascess or estimate the general value of the car while he asks the driver his question?

Sure, he would know that. Judging by the way it runs and how it's equipped, it could probably be sold for about $5,000.

Thanks, but I get the feeling he's a bit out of place, because I picture him fitting into more of a modern version of the great depression. I serriously have no idea how he survived the last 10 years in New York when the place is a piles of rubble and a 24-hour warzone. It's what, 3:30 AM or so in the game right now? I bet he'll be dead by dawn. Poor bastard. :D

Well, to be sure, in the opening post I described a breakout of gang violence and people's apathy toward it, but that doesn't mean I intended for the city to be a giant gun battle 24/7! Also, some sections of the city have been heavily rebuilt (the one's where the corporations and upper class folk have influence). So he's not as out of place as you think, I wouldn't wager. This early part of the game has indeed been extremely bloody because I wanted to start the campaign off with a bang and get everyone used to the combat system, but there won't be this much combat throughout. Not by a long shot.

Meanwhile Stacey pushes the talk button on her phone and without so much as a hello yells "Get your ass over here, ASAP Joseph! It's life or death!" before hanging up, throwing the phone on the ground and having a nervous, sobbing breakdown.
You know, I'd really like to console her right now, but...
As soon as the man peaks his head out of the crater, Dirk opens up on full auto. The very first shot hits his throat and severs his head, but Dirk doesn't stop firing. The next 9 shots rip the airborne head to pieces, then to liquid in midair. There's nothing solid enough left over for a thud to be made when it hits the ground, more like a simultaneous *squish* and a *pitter-patter*.
I am laughing so freaking hard at the wanton carnage on display here. You had to have gotten some perverse joy out of writing the last few posts.

It'll take me a little while to post.
