Wow. I figured they'd give him until the end of his contract. Well, it won't be like other teams aren't looking for a head coach.

His contract was through next season but they were going to have him stay through the end of this one and Reeves himself decided it wasn't worth it if he was going to be fired. Can't say I blame him. He should get mega brownie points just for taking the Falcons to the Superbowl even once.
