Heh--what I find interesting: In the Buu saga, an uber powerful Vegeta blows himself up...and gets less destruction than Little Boy (the hiroshima bomb). Piccolo considers this crater/damage level impressive. Majin Buu takes several seconds to destroy a city. Yet somehow, they can blow up planets, or defeat people capable of blowing up planets.

hmm...maybe orbit a star destroyer, or even a galaxy class, and do a little orbital bombardment?

Just a little info-

Speed-Gotenks flew around the world 8 times in less then 30 minutes (dialouge) and appeared to spend most of the time fly in the atmosphere, then orbiting Earth and going around it in seconds (visuals)

Durability-Buu. He's gotten a large hole blown in him which regenerates instantly, punchs that make dents which regenerate instantly, having his upper torso vapourized which regenerates instantly, and blown into tiny pieces that combine instantly.

Power-Vegeta blew up a planet very violently without straining at all. The recent characters are FAR more powerful then that level of him.

Interesting info-Buu can turn people into candy and chocolate. Vegetto can fight as candy.

I wouldn't trust all of what the American/English versions say. For instance, the 'Supreme Kai' pants is nothing but a way of getting out of multiple deities so no - one gets offended. IT'S KAIOSHIN!!! KAIOSHIN I TELL YOU ALL!!!

East. The North and West kaioshins were killed by Buu, as South and Dai Kaioshin were absorbed by him.

Ah yes, that's correct. IIRC, this is the chain of command for the afterlife:

Kai=God of a world
Kaio = God of one Galaxy quadrant (1/4th)
Dai Kaio= God of one Galaxy
Kaioshin = God of one Galaxy cluster (4)
Dai Kaioshin=Supreme God of the Universe

Yes, there are 16 galaxies in the DBZ universe, although Buu destroys 12 and Brolli destroys 1.

Actually, a Kami is a god of a world. If you took it in the English version then the deities would go like this (from the lowest):

Karin
Mr. Popo (I suppose)
Kami/Piccolo (As he used to be called) and Dende
North Kai (AKA King Kai; Kaiousama), South Kai, West Kai & East Kai
Grand Kai (AKA Dai Kaiou)
Kibito (Again, I suppose)
North Kaioshin, South Kaioshin, East Kaioshin, West Kaioshin
Dai Kaioshin.

And according to canon, Brolli never existed. In fact, the only canon movies are Movie 1, Movie 5, Movie 9, and Movie 13. The others never happened in the DBZ timeline. Unfortunately, that also includes Brolli's films, Movies 8, 10 and 11 (Although, if 11 is anything to go by, then it's just as well, cause he looks sucky as a villain in that one).

He dosn't have to lock on to a FAMILIAR presence, any power source'll do.

Goku uses Shukanido teleporting (IIRC), which needs a target. Kaikai teleporting, which Kibito uses, doesn't.

Both of them INSTANTLY move the uses to their destination (which violates at least two-thirds of the laws of physics :D )

consequences wrote:Satan destroyed the moon? If you mean Piccolo, sometimes referred to as a devil, or Daimo then you are correct, If you actually meant to say Mr. Satan I am going to have to track you down and hurt you. In any case, without apparent effort means pointing your hand and nuking something without the accompanying constipation sounds and facial expressions. My recollection of the anime is incredibly fuzzy, but in the manga there is some signifigant effort involved.
If they were throwing planet destroying attacks around so easily during Frieza's saga, why did they make such a big honking deal about the Final Flash and Super Kamehameha that Vegeta and Goku respectively used when fighting Cell, and why wasn't Cell able to effectively stop them? Why did Cell have to charge up for his self destruct for so damned long? Either its a big deal, and the characters grew in power throughout the series, or its nothing to them, and all the training and powerups they received were for visual effect only. Planet Destruction does not mean Death Star Event, a Death Star Event is when a planet is near-instantly vaporised, something that only is seen in DBZ near the very end of the Majin Buu saga, in episodes that might not have been released in the U.S. yet.
Fact, for attacks that should contain such ridiculous quantities of energy, the colatteral damage from missed blasts is extremely low.
Chrostas, I am saying that DBZ characters idiocy exists, and is more than can be accounted for by the normal standards of cartoons. Other Japanese childrens cartoon characters are not nearly as annoying to me, mostly because they tend to have more to them than just the ability to blow up large areas, and occasionally learn from their mistakes. Deep plots and smart people are EXACTLY what I expect from any decent anime, the bastardised versions of DBZ originally released in America are beneath my notice. Frothy mugs of water my ass.
No, Kamesennin destroyed the moon instantly in the first few episodes of Dragon Ball.

In the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai to get Goku out of Oozaru form. But Piccolo blew up the moon in DBZ as well. Maybe somebody wished it back?

You people actually watch this? Why is this horseshit on Cartoon Network 12 times a day, while something good like Big O is barely seen??
If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! Grand Admiral Prawn;

DBZ is so bad it is good. Also, like Rocky and Bowlwinkle, there are jokes and cultural references that children will not get, until they are older, and see the reruns.

DBZ is also a soap opera. If you watch it for enough episodes, it will suck you in. I used to flip by it, and skip it, thinking, "who are these oddballs, and why do they grimace and sweat so much? Why can't they just fight and get it over with!" I watched it a few times while realy buzzed, (toonami, midnight run) and the rest is tragic history. I am hooked! This is like my taste for musicals of the 40s and 50s. (Guys and Dolls, South Pacific, Oklahoma, The Music Man, ect...) Not particularly manly, but I am sane enough to act crazy, and strong enough to be weak.
Hmmmmmm.

yes, this is not some POS american cartoon where episodes have little/nothing to do with each other. I mean come on, the Johnny Bravo, the five I've been FORCED to watch, have no continuity whatsoever.
