Let us wait and see who pitches a bitch, and who ponys up.
This is very simple, no helping the cause, well then, no helping yourself to the pie!
Why is such a simple one for one denounced as so unfair?
Could it be, the denouncers are not helpers?
Like I said.
Anyone NOT see this coming?

Bullshit. Canada contributed troops in Afghanistan and ships in the Gulf, and got blacklisted because we wouldn't go the last step of putting troops on the ground (which we couldn't do anyway due to manpower limits). Our only "crime" was to say that we didn't agree with the war. Even as we speak, Shrubby is trying to convince France and Germany to forgive billions in Iraqi debt, while simultaneously telling them that they're being blacklisted for not helping out. If you don't want to admit that the Bush Administration is acting like a bunch of infantile little dipshits, you've got your head buried in the sand.EmperorChrostas the Cruel wrote:This is very simple, no helping the cause, well then, no helping yourself to the pie!
Because it's not that simple. Why is such a simple one for one denounced as so unfair?
In Canada's case, wrong.Could it be, the denouncers are not helpers?
Oh, we all saw it coming. We predicted it back before the war when the Neo-Cons were gushing about how it was a war of liberation rather than conquest, and that the US wouldn't be treating the country as war booty afterwards (you know, the war booty that you're now saying belongs legitimately to the US and not to the "denouncers"). Remember? Funny how Alzheimer's can strike at such a young age nowadays.Like I said.

Should be a little adapted:EmperorChrostas the Cruel wrote:Anyone every heared of the fable, "The little Red Hen?"
Anyone every heared of the fable, "The little Red Hen?"
The little Red Hen wanted to take attention away from the farms own problems, so she saw the neighboring farm weak and pitiful, and got to work on invading it. Seeing how this was a lot of work, and help would be nice, she shouted out to the barn,
"Who will help me invade the neighboring farm?"
"Not I," said Piggley Wiggley,
"Not I," said Turkey Lurkey,
"Not I," said Foxy Loxy, (ECT..)
The little Red Hen did the work, and She then needed to controll the restless subjects at the now devastated farm.
"Who will help me police the neighboring farm?" cried the little Red Hen.
"Not I," said Piggley Wiggley,
(*something something*)
When the Little Red Hen was done doing all the work, she said,
"Who will help me rebuild the neighboring farm?"
"I will!" shouted Foxy Loxy, Turkey Lurkey, Piggley Wiggley, Doggy Woggy, Catty Kitty, and Mousy Wousey all at one.
"I think not," said the little Red Hen, and rebuilt the neighboring farm alone.
You made it tough on yourself. These countries have a lot of nerve asking for goodies, after making it harder on us than needed.
My outrage cancels YOUR outrage, so now that outrage is off the table, just WHY should we NOT punish those who made it tougher on us?
By not acting like pompous assholes you could have gotten the others behind you, then again alot of people still think the war was uneccessary, the Iraqis couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery, but Al-Qaeda can fuck you up with some paper and gasoline, they're an army of brown MacGyvers.
If Bush had any sense of priorities he should have dealt with Al-Qaeda first, instead of pissing off nearly the whole muslim world and also managing the rest by his sterling cowboy behaviour, he's just making the situation worse.
The war was strategical screwup and the damage is done, atleast the europeans could have helped in rebuilding if not destroying.
It's about revenge, it's not about helping iraq at all. This is more than just about money.
It's not like it's our fault Saddam was allowed to get into power anyway, you want help cleaning up your own mess if we look further back, we gave help in -91 because you didn't trample around like a rhino on cocaine then.
Can't get what you don't give out. This is to let the world know, we are a changed nation, and our patience and forgivness should no longer be considered a given.
We're quaking in our boots, really. You cross us, and there will be consequences.
How 'bout some embargos? See who can take that hit? There's power in economy too, not just guns.

Why generalize the entire US when its George Fucking Bush who is responsible for a large part of this shit? The sad part is that Dubya is going to get re-elected since A) The economy seems to be recovering somewhat, and B) the damn Democrats can't come up with a fucking candidate!

Sorry, but Bush speaks and acts for the US, it is the US that are doing what he says, it's only proper to speak of it as the country as a whole in that regard, even if we don't mention that we know that not all the US citizens agrees with Bush and his policies.Darth Fanboy wrote:Why generalize the entire US when its George Fucking Bush who is responsible for a large part of this shit?
We're not attempting to generalize it's citizens, it's just that the country, the USA, does what Bush and his adminstration decrees, it is only proper to refer to the country as a singular entity.

And it still doesn't. That saying referred to how the British had territory spread out all over the world so that it was always daylight somewhere in the Empire. Actually the phrase had a literal and a figurative meaning.
Literally, it was spread out so it was always day somewhere, and figurative, that the sun setting signalled the end, and that would never happen to the empire.

Oh, don't get your hackels up. I'm not implying that the French were sending secret agents to work against us or anything. But they did go pass voicing objection to our moves and actively recruited opposition in the international comunity. Now, I know its their right or atleast in their interest to do so. No evil is sucribed to it, just that they did work against us. Chirac has also mentioned on various occasions that France will not participate at all in the Iraqi war.
Again, I'm not trying to paint them as the greatest evil this centuary, but they did work against us on the issue of Iraq.
