Perhaps myself being the local Borg fanboy and encyclopedia will make my points carry more weight with you.
Adaptation has limits. The Borg can optimize their shielding as much as they want...if the enemy has more energy output then their shields can possibly absorb...adaptation or not, the Borg lose.
After a few cubes are destroyed, the Borg will become impervious to the attacks by the Turbo Lasers and the main attack beam.
Sorry, total BS. There's not one shred of evidence to suggest the Borg or their vessels could
ever withstand the DS's primary weapon system, or even a significant fraction of it. Species 8472 energy pulses tore apart cubes repeatedly, and their firepower is insignificant compared to the DS's primary weapon system.
Which makes the Deathstar a sitting duck.
That's like saying a modern US tank is a sitting duck for a teenager with a slingshot.
Or they'll just teleport the drones to the surface of the deathstar and assimilate the deathstar or take down all of the Turbo Lasers and eventually the main cannon.
It's highly unlikely Borg transporters could ever penetrate the DS's shielding(unless they lowered them for the chance for some target practice against boarding drones). It's moot point anyhow since the DS would butcher any Borg vessels within range of it's primary weapon system.
Either case, the Borg win.
Hey,
I'm the the resident Borg wanker, fanboy, encyclopedia, you name it. And I don't make the claims you do because they are simply not logical. Trust me.
