Go Bengals (aka Payback is a Bitch)!!!

Yes, the Bengals finally took out the 49ers. I was at that game, and I about froze my cajones off. But it was worth it. Rudi Johnson is a freak!

The Rams scare me, but we can beat them if we don't make any mistakes.

Beat them. Oh please oh please oh please, beat them. If you beat them,
they'll be buried in the race for first seed in the NFC for all intents and purpose. The Eagles win home field advantage if they win out anyway, but a little breathing room would be nice, and let's face it, the Rams aren't going to lose to Detroit.

The Rams must not win out on home field advantage. Football teams that wuss out and play within domes must travel at playoff time to places where they must prove themselves against the elements. It's super pathetic that they play in a domed statdium in St. Louis anyway. It's right in the middle of the country it's not like it's the coldest or hottest place to play.

Still, they aren't as pathetic as the Vikings. Anyone notice how the Vikings went to 4 Super Bowls in the 70's when the team was still playing outside but now that they play inside they've really only had one shot at going to the Super Bowl and the choked on that one to another dome team (the Falcons).

There's just something really wrong about a team named after Vikings playing indoors. :?

The sorriest thing is, the Rams will play the rest of their regular season games indoors, because the Lions pussied out and built a dome. THey'll also get one playoff game in their dome.

I'm just glad that the Packers and Bears just remodeled their stadiums and didn't pussy out and build domed monstrosities.

If it's about comfort of your fans then stick heaters in the seats so they won't freeze their asses off but otherwise real football is played outdoors in the weather.

Although, I will say there is something just not right with playing football in Phoenix when the temp in the shade is still hitting 110F+ mark. The Packers just died against the Cardinals in a game this year where it was at least that hot. Some people I know went to the game and the stadium was out of bottled water before the first half was over because it was so hot and sunny.

Oh, cut the Vikings some slack, they're in fucking Minnesota. I sure don't want to watch football being played in two feet of snow.
...
Okay, now that I think about it that would be pretty spiffy. But still.

Anyway, I've been rooting for the Bengals since they got to .500; if my dear Broncos can't make it, I hope they win the Superbowl and some die-hard Bengals fan makes a mint from that long shot bet they put down at the start of the season. :)
