Onward Christian Soldiers, / Onward Buddhist Priests.
Onward, Fruits of Islam, / Fight 'till you're deceased.
Fight your little battles, / Join in thickest fray;

Does anyone know that method that lets you pass ASCII codes to the keyboard and the PC spits out the correct letter to the screen?

Now Hiring‼

It looks like an oval shape number like 6 or 0 but nothing comes out.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Now Hiring

Ah, it's just <ALT># codes! Simplest code in the world to crack.

Hey, I wonder if we're breaking the DMCA law by cracking that 'encryption' and discussing how to break it. For that matter, what about our keyboards? LOL

Could be a six.

ASCII 0006 is the control character "Ack" (acknowledge), so it's requesting a reply...

Actually it is more than likely a 0 which would be a NULL terminated string. Makes sense no?

Given the context, a g is more likely.

Very clever. I like it. :mrgreen: The string is "Now Hiring\0", or simply a null-terminated "Now Hiring" string in ASCII.

The last character has to be a #0 to terminate the string, or else we technically won't know what a printf("%s", msg); would output. ;)

So they're obviously hiring programmers since that's just standard C/C++ code... and apparently those with either digital cameras or instant recognition of ASCII codes since they'd be expected to decode that while driving. (Or maybe just a running laptop at their side to punch it into.)

I wonder how many compiled it and output the string instead of ALT+0###ing the numbers into Notepad?
Later...

I saw this on another board about a week ago. Yes, some people wrote a short C program with that to figure out the message. It is clever, though.
