Looks like a map in Gnomish, it has a few Kobald layers... it is poorly made but I think it is genuine

"So you plan to go after those Kobolds too? Your map is either old or fake - those kobold enclaves could be very well death traps. Even kobolds know that their lair should be in a secret location. Are you sure that the elf(he points at Malakar) isn't some kind of evil henchman who wants to lead us to our doom?"

Yes, oddly enough, I managed to pick up Gnomish when I was growing up. I never thought I would use it.

If he was evil, the ward would have hedged him out. No, he just has a bad map... The gnomish grammar is even bad... Written by someone who wasnt even fluent.

"You really want to follow that map? Looks like you want to become the main ingredent of kobold stew. I am going to walk west to investigate the kobold raids there. " (Griz plans to scout ahead of the other characters he tries to stay hidden as long as possible - he wants to investigate the kobold raids and find out the location of their main lair. )

I have no intention of using such a map... I would go with your suggestion.

I dont think we would need the hoerse, in fact, when dealing with Kobalds, a horse is in more danger than they are worth... Kobalds can slip into tiny spaces....

Malakar tucks the map away in his cloak, then nods slowly. "I'll search ahead and find a good trail to get started on." Malakar then sprints off into the forest, soon vanishing into the vegetation.

Outside the Inn a rather large, iron plated, wagon pulls up. After a few minutes a Raven Flies out, and then an obesely fat human, in obscenely shiny robes steps out, pulls down Iron Skirting on the outside of wagon, covering up the wheels from damage. Ties up the horses, and then sets up a small table, selling magic wands.

Malakar returns a short time later, seemingly appearing into thin air out of the trees. He smiles heartily and claps his hands together. "I believe I have found a most suitable trail. It is-" Malakar breaks off as he sees the obese human. "Who are you?" he asks.

Keenan stares as the mountain of a man moved around. In itself, it was a rather funny sight.
He watches as Malakar walks towards him and speaks to him.
He looks down again on Tsaroth and mutters, "Just as we were ready to go kick some Kobold ass..."
Suddenly, a fiercy red tiny pseudodragon streaked from the stables towards him and lands on his right shoulder. "Ah, Krk, you're awake." He gently pats him on the head.
