We're spoiled around here because this board, relatively speaking, is absolutely brilliant compared with the average board. Many other BBS's have amazingly stupid members. This is just an example--for the most part, no one around here believes that ST could possibly win. That is the correct analysis of the information we have. At other boards, however, there are many, many people who would argue vehemently about that.

MoO, I'd strongly urge you and others not to continously say ST couldn't win. ST=Star Trek, which encompasses the Star Trek universe. Sure, the Federation would get blasted fairly quickly, maybe even the Borg and Species 8472. But they aren't the sole elements or Star Trek. Comparing the totality of both universes means ST actually wins, given the demostrated power of the Q and other "super" beings.

Perhaps this is just a nitpick, but the comment keeps sounding like the Empire would come in and obliterate every form of existence in Trek, when that is just not true.

Actually it is, none of the inhabitants of the ST galaxy have a chance against the Empire aside from *some* of the godlike beings such as the Q, but nobody counts them mostly because they wouldn't do anything.
