The article says Tom Ridge did not want to raise the terror level to orange, and he resisted having it raised for two weeks, but the director of the CIA and Attorney General ASS-croft insisted it be raised.

Why do they even bother with stories like this? I mean, what's Joe American supposed to do, avoid foreign airlines (just in case) and only fly US flag carriers... Oh, wait.
