It's not as if the Democrats don't have the same philosophy...
"preemptive killing of cops might not be such a bad idea from a personal saftey[sic] standpoint..." --Keevan Colton
"There's a word for bias you can't see: Yours." -- William Saletan

Some people just can't let go of their politics...

That is a funny slogan, though.
Manic Progressive: A liberal who violently swings from anger at politicos to despondency over them.

Out Of Context theatre: Ron Paul has repeatedly said he's not a racist. - Destructinator XIII on why Ron Paul isn't racist.

Funny as hell, to bad there isn't a political party (except, maybe, the libertarians) which wouldn't have the same slogan.
'After 9/11, it was "You're with us or your with the terrorists." Now its "You're with Straha or you support racism."' ' - The Romulan Republic

'You're a bully putting on an air of civility while saying that everything western and/or capitalistic must be bad, and a lot of other posters (loomer, Stas Bush, Gandalf) are also going along with it for their own personal reasons (Stas in particular is looking through rose colored glasses)' - Darth Yan

Taking a nice swipe at the Reagan admin too~ rofl
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

It's not as if the Democrats don't have the same philosophy...
The only difference is that the Republicans want to spend all the money on private interests, and the Democrats want to spend it all on government programs. I'm pretty sure Clinton tried to create a "An Excuse To Spend More Money" department, but it got axed because they couldn't think of a good acronym for it... :D

Homeland Security fits that description quite well, actually.

As for Clinton...it's true that spending didn't go up during the Clinton years nearly as much as it has gone up during the first Bush years. But certainly not for lack of effort on the part of the Clinton Administration.

I like how the card extends to 2005, but I hope the Dems are prepared to bitch and make jokes like this for another 4 years, because they're gonna.
