Bah, humbug.

Here's what i've got so far:

Image

Which is some weird yet really really good shampoo stuff.

Image

Which is an odd "airzooka" thing that the dog is already shit-scared of.

Image

Signed dave spikey live dvd, The Usual suspects dvd, and Desperadoes game, and a wooden model. :P

Image

This very camera, and a 64mb smartmedia thing.

Image

Some Batman comics.

Image

Some nostradamus prophecies, rather randomly.

My transformers/tank tshirt, an A3 sketchpad.

Money. That's it so far, though there should be more coming, once the extended family get here.

it´s one of these kitchen machines which can shred food in several million different shapes, make dough and has an integrated blender and stuff like that.
then i got a julienne cutter which is a kitchen tool which is used to make very thin "pins" out of veggetable and fruit. no plastic crap but completely stainless steel.
and 50 euros from grandma.
and a lottery ticket from a friend which won nothing.

Nitram, slightly high on cough syrup: Do you know you're beautiful?
Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

Three very nice sweaters.
A pair of stain-resistant pants (I love these things).
Another pair of pajama pants (can't have enough that fit).
A book on atheism.
A couple hundred bucks.
A digital camera pending buy (I still want to find a good used PowerShot G2 on eBay).
Indiana Jones DVD set (widescreen).
A katana in a beautiful scabbard with small booklet about forms, history and proper care (I still have yet to unsheath it, though I am tempted ... :) ).

1. The Zinn Reader by Howard Zinn. A collection of essays from a radical historian.

2. Outlaw Star Perfect Boxed Set. Been wanting to get that for quite some time.

3. Some money. Always nice.

Then there was an exchange style program we did with the family. Everyone contributes one gift into the center of the room (I gave a Frank Zappa CD), then draw numbers. The first person picks a gift out of the center, then the second person can choose to either steal that gift or pick another--if your gift is stolen you immediately get another turn, though there are obviously no take-backs. It goes around two times, if you possess a gift three times it is yours, or if you are left with it at the end of play.

I ended up with a pair of bookends that look like frogs clinging to stone, and they weigh about of 20 pounds, I think. Bookends... or murder weapons? They can be both :D

The Complete Far Side. Two volume hardcover boxset, with ALL of the Far Side comics ever printed, arranged in order of printing. This thing is heavy enough that a person might be able to stun a charging hippo with it. :D

And that's about it.

Every Christmas his female co-workers keep getting him shirts & sweaters that are completely not his style, and which he claims "makes him look retarded". Guess what? He just got another white sweater which he'll never wear. He was ranting & raving on the phone pretty good.

I suppose the only thing that might count is my dad not passing on the repair costs for my Camaro. All he expects me to pay is the base price of the car.

Which is cool, I suppose.

But most of the problem, I would guess, stems from my parents' relative isolationism... Oh well. Think you've got a reason to whine, Alyeska? Yeah, right.

Luckily these all seem to look good on me, so it's not a problem. I actually asked that people not get me anything for christmas, but of course they didn't listen.
