"Dagon" on VHS (saw it yesterday - one of the few horror movies which actually freaked me out, if only for the bloody demise of Ezequiel)

two books in English - An anthology of Robert E. Howard short stories (why have none of his stories been translated to Danish? He's one of the fantasy genre's creators!) and "The Wind In The Willows" (only been exposed to the Danish translation)

A can of corned beef (no, really!)

A wooden keyring formed like, well, a piece of wood

3 blank audiocassette tapes (I've now recorded some Morbid Angel, Iron Maiden, Megadeth and Hammerfall on one of them)

A rucksack specially designed for carrying around a laptop computer (I don't own a laptop yet, but the rucksack could still come in handy...)

A lot of new portfolii

And probably something else... my short-term memory is far from perfect.

The Tsar's last Armada, by Constantine Pleshakov. And new and excellent book on the voyage to the Battle of Tsushima.

Conway's History of the Ship-Cogs, Caravels and Galleons, the sailing ship from 1000-1650. Not the title I wanted, but well illustrated and full of recent work.

And this.
And this.
And this, too.
Plus photo-etch detail sets, decals, extra ship's boats, and a pack of 1/700 scale luftwaffe aircraft for the hell of it. :D

A shirt, pair of shoes, pair of Levi's.

A South Park DVD.

A nifty little remote control indoor flying saucer, too.

Those of you who got socks, did you toss them over your shoulder a la "A Christmas Story?" That's what we do in my family! :D

From my mother/step-father; 70 bucks. Not much, but they're pretty much broke right now... it has some sentimental value.

From my father; a nice-looking bike and the Grand Theft Auto Double pack thing for X-Box. Oh, uhh, I get his surround sound system when we get around to installing his new one. The old one works perfect, he just wanted a new one for some reason. Hey, I'm not complaining :D

From my grandparents (mom's side); The Asus A7N8X 2.0 Deluxe motherboard. You may now envy my ultimate nerdness.

From my grandparents (dad's side); A television!

Then some misc. stuff from other parts of extended family, books, money, etc.

Just bought a Canon PowerShot G2 on Christmas. Wonderful 4 MP camera. Canon's RAW format is exceptional in that a full-resolution image is only 3 MB due to the lossless compression algorithms Canon uses. Now all I have to do is get the digital camera attachment for my iPod which allows me to just store my pics on it instead of buying endless amounts of Compact Flash cards.

Later today, it's off to buy the 24 Season 2 DVD set.

Wow, I didn't know they still delivered stuff on Saturdays. I just got a handmade yak hair sweater from my sister in Nepal. It's soft like you wouldn't believe and feels almost like cashmere yet it's far more rugged and can stand up to years of wear & tear. Perfect for the upcoming winter weather, whenever winter decides to get here.

I got a bunch of stuff before Christmas (we moved, and it's not really for me, but it can be):

- 72" projection TV with Bose surround
- Professional pool table
- Tornado Foosball
- A house

I also got some stuff on Christmas itself

- $430, buying CD's and a stereo
- Punching bag
- A Christmas Story DVD
- Pirates of the Caribbean DVD
- Candy (of course)
- Nice pocket knife from my dad

That's about it. Not too bad.

The Ocarina of Time. I would've prefered the Fairy Ocarina, but I not entirely complaining. *BM Dance*

I also tracked down a 3rd party memory card for my Gamecube. 1000 blocks isn't something to scoff at.
