I don't know. The E-E in the trailer looks pretty obviously CGI.

Oh yeah! I just remembered something! In the Balance of Terror (in my opinion, the greates Trek episode ever) the one guy who's family was in the Earth-Romulan war said their ships "are painted like a giant bird of prey" Where the hell is the BoP on the ENT Rom ship? Dumb bastards...

I have a pic of Braga's head pasted onto a picture of Nixon doing that two-finger hand-waving thing, shouting 'The continuity is airtight! The continuity is airtight!'

I'll see if I can post it.

A very pretty ship... but it looks like a fighter more than anything else.

I was thinking that when this thread was first posted.
You were thinking I am hansome, dashing and witty?

Just to clarify before I go reinact the "Crying Game" scene, you are male, correct?

I think the Scimitar is a crumby looking design with crumby CGI.

Damm, I seem to have ended up with a modular frigate/corvette instead.

Ps the reason for this thread is not the pic, thats there for people who didn't see if first time. The reason for the thread is the poll. So many people want it towed away as garbage...

It's not the Scimitar you dolt, it's the Valdore, a differnet ship.

Yeah, we don't even SEE the Scimitar...cheap bastards!

Before all the Trekkie fanboys converge on me, yes, we do see the Scimitar but for most of the movie it will be cloaked to save on CGI costs.

The Birds aren't on it in ENT. They aren't on in TNG either. Maybe they paint them on WHEN they go to war? Kinda like nose art on WWII bombers?

Points I like: General shape is very reminiscent of the original TOS BOP. (Sounds like a fucked up new dance craze, doesn't it, kids? Come on, gang, let's do the TOSS BOP!")

Points I don't like: Too flat. I know that's a contradiction, but it needs substance. I also can't stand the beak on this thing, as it appears to serve no real purpose.

Well they could have done worse. It could look like Hawk's ship from Buck Rogers complete with beak AND talons. :D
