Macadamia nuts. God those things are good, damn expensive too. A family friend worked for the airlines and would bring them back from Hawaii all the time when I was younger, but he retired and I rarely get to eat them these days.

I suppose I like fresh pistachios just as much as fresh roasted peanuts.

Not much in to the others. But carmalized pecans make a great garnish for salad. Hmmmm....yum!

Almonds are were it's at, my friends. Especially toasted and/or covered in chocolate. Mmmm! Pecans follow at close second. There are few things that can beat homemade chocolate pecan turtles.

I have no real preference save macadamias (last time I had them, I damn near died... of course, that was 16 years ago.)

Pecan pie is good, cashews are nice in stir-fries, walnuts are good for general baking...

These are by far the nicest nuts...and those who disagree...have never tried them...but I am rarely able to get my hands on them...so have to settle for cashews...which I love as well
