My uncle sent this to my mom and she wanted me to watch it when I was visiting yesterday. I found it somewhat interesting and also annoying. So, I thought some people here might like to see it. There is a lot to say about it but I think people here are much better at articulating those things than I am.

I hate to break it to you, but fundamentalist Islam is indeed evil, and intent on taking over the world. Fortunately that goal is a little beyond their grasp seeing how Christianity beat them to it several centuries ago. You would think that they would see the history of Christian expansion, and all the misery it caused, and be wise enough to not repeat history. Unfortunately wisdom and religion generally don't go hand in hand.

The New Anti-Semitism: A World Free of a Jewish State

Which is clearly bullshit. If we use that logic, a world free of an Aryan Reich would be anti-white.

Pointing out the flaws in this presentation is sort of like shooting motionless clay pigeons the size of a house with a shotgun, but I'll have a go anyway. I notice the author fails to take into account the rather large difference between wanting no more Jews and wanting no more Jewish state. As Wong pointed out, none of us want a "white" state, either.

I also like the "modern western culture" bit, because of course Israel is the vanguard of western civilization and not a throwback to the theocratic states of yesteryear in any way, shape, or form.

Of course, no pro-Israel charade would be complete without a map showing how small and defenseless Israel is. Comical errors aside (India's been lying to us all this time!), the map defeats itself. Look at Khazakstan! Its fucking huge! The fact that it hasn't yet conquered Asia is ample proof that the "size = threat level" argument is bullshit. This isn't the fucking middle ages, land does not necessarily equate to military power. Yeah, Israel is really small, but its got a huge fucking military and fucking nuclear weapons. How many nuclear weapons does Syria have, again?

I also like how it condemns Islam for attempting to spread the faith. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that these Christians would not be adverse to doing some spreading of the faith themselves.

And look! Islam is a focal point of war! Surely Christianity has never, ever been engaged in any sort of warfare...except, that, you know, half the examples listed involve Christians as well. And let's not forget the Church's shady past. Cathars, anyone?

At least they try to differentiate between 'Islam' and 'Radical Islam'.

All they prove is that the radical Islamists are just as fanatical and bloodthirsty as the radical Israeli nationalists, nothing more.

Well, thing is that it appears that many Palestininans don't believe that Jews have a right to live in Israel. While it's quite obvious that Israel shouldn't base its laws in religious dogma, that doesn't mean that the state shouldn't exist at all.

The equivalent of saying "the Hebrews don't have a right to live in Israel/Palestine because they oppress the Palestinians" is to say during WW2: "the Germans don't have a right to live in Germany because they commit atrocities".

Wrong; they have a right to live on that piece of land. But they do not have a right to declare the existence of a "Jewish state" there.

The point here is that when millions of people are told to abandon their homes and their lives to get out with no real compensation, they will be pissed off. If you came home tomorrow to find that your house had been bulldozed and there was an armed soldier telling you to walk to the next state, would you be happy?

No. After a wave of Israeli terrorist attacks including a few massacres, vast numbers of people fled their homes and literally walked to refugee camps. Do you really think these people went from living in houses to living in refugee camps because they wanted to, or because the Israelis paid fair price for their houses? The establishment of a "Jewish state" necessarily involved greatly lowering the number of non-Jewish people currently living there. The whole idea of a "Jewish state" is, as I have stated elsewhere, racist by definition.
