"Yes, staffs could be very dangerous. But they must also be used by a mage to be reliable. We will cross that bridge when we come to it... I know how to deal with magic items.

Tunnels would have to start outside the forest. those trees are old, ther roots are thick, and run deep. We would be alerted to them anyway by trees deprived of their root system. I would be able to get behind enemy lines and send a lightning bold down the tunnel."

"Might I suggest we rapidly spread word of the improved defences, rather than debating about whether the kobolds are building tunnels we don't even know can be built. It'd be nearly impossible to build tunnels in this area anyway. The ground dry, and networked with a maze of roots over a 1000 years old. I think even my kind would have a hard time building tunnels here and keeping them in working order."

You are both directed to the south wall, were you see one guard dead with an arrow through his head.

Guard: Flew out of the fields and hit him! It's only one guard, but whoever shot it is still out there, and we can't keep loosing people.

One of the guards pulls out a shortbow and noches it with a flameing arrow, he draws the string backs.....

*rolls dice*

Two bolts whiz through the air. One misses comepletly, another hits him full in the chest. (he's at -2HP)

His arrow flies off where it lands in the allready burned sections of field. It goes out.

You can trace a rough location.

I don't see "flameing arrow" on your inventory.
