Strange vs. Strange
I'm watching the Twilight Zone Marathon and I was thinking..."Which is better, Twilight Zone or The Outer Limits?"
So, any thoughts?

I like the Outer Limits. They're usually quite well done, and I just don't really like older sci-fi. For movies/TV, its probably got to be made in the last 20 years to interest me. I've seen a couple TZ episodes, and they were undoubtably good, but they're just too old now, with themes that are by now quite redundant.

TZ, the 90's version of the outerlimits comes close though. The old OL was more B movie-ish than TZ, and TZ had better acting. But the new OL had the benefit of 90's CG and animatronics etc but still retained a level of good acting and hard to predict storylines. And it even pulled in a few good actors, Nimoy and even Heston at one point.
WE, however, do meddle in the affairs of others.

I don't mind to watch either of them if I could thus that was my vote.
The only episode that I remember was with TZ when an old man finally found peace and quiet with all the books he could read but then his glasses broke.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Outer Limits. Only because in one episode, Alyssa Milano had to fuck people through the whole show to get an alien out of her. Not to mention scenes are on the internet with her taking her bra off. Damn, those are some nice tits.

There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We can reduce the focus to a soft blur, or sharpen it to crystal clarity. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to... The Outer Limits.
