Worst football team this year?

Post by Straha »

Excluded teams: Houston because they are an expansion team, played with the toughest schedule of the leauge, and still came out with a half decent expansion team record.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either. :P

As much as it pains me to say this (I'm a Falcons fan), I had to vote for the Falcons. They may not be the worst team but they come close. They're just too damn dependent on Mike Vick. Everytime he's out for some reason or another the entire offense falls apart. Their entire strategy seems to be 'don't worry , Vick will save us'. All while he was injured, it was all about Mike Vick and when he's coming back, and if he'll be on the field before the season's up.

Well guess what Atlanta, your star player isn't going to be on the field all the damn time! Sometimes you have to pick up the load yourselves and, God forbid, make up strategies that don't involve 'Vick the Savior" swooping in to the rescue! Your entire team can't revolve around one man.

Better post before this gets locked.

As a San Diego native, I most sadly vote for the fuckinggodawful Chargers. I had liked them ever since I was a little kid, and I still remember the '95-96 season when the went to the Superbowl. Sure, they got their asses kicked, but they had some wonderful playoff games, such as their stunning victory over Pittsburg.

Nowadays...Christ, 4-12. Still, not as bad as their 1-15 season from a few years ago, but Christ. There's talk of them moving and I say so fucking long.
Oh, and trading Junior Seau. Goddamn retards.

I picked the Cardinals for obvious reasons.

I actually feel a little guilty though since they had such an enjoyable last game of the season.

I vote for the Cardinals. They don't suck horribly worse than the other teams, but the complete lack of caring in the Phoenix area makes the Cardinals special. If memory serves, there was a home game this year with about 23,000 in attendance. That is less than half of some of the ASU games this year, and we suck. For a NFL team to have under 25,000 people is just sad.

Also, this year there were more Packers and Vikings fans that showed up
at Sun Devil to see them play the Cards than Cardinals fans. Funny thing is the Cards won both of those cames. .

Well, why do I want to go watch some sucky team stink up my stadium?

Well I'm certainly not going to drive up to Phoenix to watch a sucky team stick up your stadium.

It's also why I didn't go watch Arizona play ASU (two sucky teams). :D
