Hell yes, how much would you want for it? I would be able to get some money by the end of the month, and I might have a few cards you want that I could also trade.

Ok, this came up with my friends yesterday as we were playing. I'm pretty sure it's bullshit, but I've fallen out of staying to date with the rules. My friend has a Flowstone Hellion, which he uses briar shields and what not to make it have a high power and flings it. He says he can make it a 9/9 an 18/0 and fling it, cause it's an instant (which my friend adds in that creatures die at end of phase, which I think the's confused with creatures attacking/blocking die at end of combat). I say he can, but in response to the +1/-1 killing it, flinging it as a 17/1. Who is right.

I'm pretty sure you are correct on this one. But I wouldn't go on my word alone.

That doesn't work. There has been a ruling for a while now that states that any creature with 0 toughness is buried.

Any creature that is in play and a 0 toughness is gone. The hellion has to have at least one toughness when you fing it.

I've not yet had a chance to pull out the box, since I was dealing with Xmas Decorations. I'll try to do a through search for it by next weekend.

One of these days I'll get anal enough to actually do an inventory of what cards I have....

You should get like a 20 9x9 sheets and throw them in. Now that I think of it I need to do that too. By the way when did you start playing magic

20? Only 20? *dies laughing*
I started playing with Revised (aka 3rd Ed), just catching the end of The Dark expansion. I bought Boxes of each expansion up until Mercedian Masks came out. Had to quit, cause I ran out of spare cash and the store I was getting them at for $80/box closed. I did buy a box of 7th, tho.

Then a friend was quitting, and gave me his collection, from Revised to Mirage/Visions/Weatherlight.
Then someone stole my travel box, which had 10 decks (60-80 cards), mostly of Revised uncommons and rares, including Shivan Dragons, Volcanic Dragons, Serras, Granite Gargoyles, and 20 Dual Lands, among others. Total loss? Prolly $600 worth at the time?

Anyway, it's been a few years since I bought cards, but I have a large collection taking up the closet.

Just a note of interest, I'm building a 'Fun' deck. It has no purpose beyond using the cards I've always wanted to use but have never been able to. It's all those fun cards that mess with gameplay... and I'm almost done.

Well...it's been god only know how long(okay only 10 years since I've touched the game since three weeks ago) but played in a Local tourney with a Red/Green Deck I made from 8th/Mirrodin.

Got first amazingly because my friend who came in second got mana screwed on his Blue/Black....and Shai Ha-Lud(Plated Slagworm) is a fun beastie.

And I've learn to hate the Isocron Sceptre(or however it's spelt) with a Counter Spell.

YAY Ghostie! Great job!

Pity about the mana-screw for your buddy, but to make it to the finals alone takes mean deck-skills. :)

Thanks :D

By memory My Deck is

11x Forests
8x Mountains
4x Shivan Oasis

1x Lightning Greaves
1x Fireshrieker

3x Blanchwood Armor
4x Fertile Ground
3x Vernal Bloom

2x Plated Slagworm
1x Thorn Elemental
2x Fyndhorn Elder
1x Two Headed Dragon
2x Shivan Dragon
2x Vishanno Sandstalkers
2x Llyurgoth
2x Hunted Wumpus

3x Blaze
4x Pyrotechnics
4x Pyroclasm

For my sideboard I have Boils(which amazingly I didn't have to use against most the blue deck...was amazed how many didn't use Counter spells out the wazoo or Rewinds, and such) and Inferno as well as Obliterate and couple Artifact killing cards.

Most the cards we both won were uncommons and few decent rares(from both Mirrodin and 8th as well as some older stuff)...feels nice to play the game again.

I sometimes have time in the evenings (EST) if anyone wants to butt heads over the game. I tend to play unconventional combo decks and the occasional uber-efficiency deck when speed is called for. When in doubt, though, I pull out a favoured bird deck (Tevar's seen that one) that I enjoy playing a great deal.

So...I get another chance to be the cause of the crashing death of your Apprentice program, then? ;)

I have to sit down and compile some of my classic decks in Apprentice format. I believe I had way more actual decks than virtual decks.
