This is a shareware game I first saw on Galaxy of Games CD3. It is played on a Hex grid and turn based. I remember it being rather fun with the few missions in it and you could target with individual weapons, weapons could be damaged, you could accelerate and deccelerate and turning while going too fast could damage you etc. Anyone know the name of this? I know it is vague but I've been looking for years Just thought to check here.
EDIT: Anyone who happens to own Galaxy of Games 3 could they let me know? I need to find the name of this game, I know it is on this CD so maybe whoever you are that has it could help me figure out which it is?

History? I love history! First, something happens, then, something else happens! It's so sequential!! Thank you first guy, for writing things down!

Sounds kind of like the combat portion of Space Empires IV. Sorry, but don't know.
That's the wrong way to tickle Mary, that's the wrong way to kiss!

Hooray, pour les français! Farewell, Angleterre!
We didn't know how to tickle Mary, but we learnt how, over there!

You talking about the one where you have to land on planets and take them over? (kind-of a space version of RISK)

No from what I remember of the demo it was a couple scenario battles with a few ships. Like one was escaping the gravity well of a planet with a damaged cruiser being chased by 3 destroyers.

You'll want to search Google for "Fleet Starship Tactical Combat Simulator". It sounds quite similar to what you're describing.
