The Yuuzhan Vong on Wayland
As we know, the Vong took Wayland during the Agents of Chaos duology - meaning that the remains of Mt. Tantiss were in their hands for the remainder of the NJO. Though it never came up again, what do you think the Vong found in the remains of the Emperor's treasure mountain?

There was signifgant amount of materile that survived c'boath's death explosion and detonatioon of mt. Tantiss. Examples of this are the camass document and the data cards it was with.Techno_Union wrote:It was to my understanding that the Mt was completely looted by Thrawn and then destroyed by Luke and company
They were not part of Mount Wayland.Crazedwraith wrote:There was signifgant amount of materile that survived c'boath's death explosion and detonatioon of mt. Tantiss. It cropped up again in the Short story serial that appeared in Gamer and Insider.
I missed the issue that dealt with it specifically, but the overall plot was the Vong dug up a data card of Palpatine's that contained the DNA for a virus that would kill off Bacta. Then they (the heros) were trying to stop it from being released.

It doesn't matter what the Vong found on Wayland. The real question is what would they use? Remember they have a xenophobic hatred of mechanical technology, and I'm guessing even Spaarti cloning equipment is vastly inferior to anything they have.
And in the end it doesn't matter. They were defeated.

Well, some of them had to shove it down their throats. Nom Anor, after years of infiltration, though he still hated machines, was more than comfortable in using them.Lazy Raptor wrote:It doesn't matter what the Vong found on Wayland. The same problem also occured on Obroa-Skai; the Vong had to resist the urge to destroy the tech because of the tactical data it had on the Republic galaxy.
As evidenced with the voxyn...[/quote]Lazy Raptor wrote:

? Wouldn't they just pile the data card on their traditional pile of vile machinery to be destroyed?Ender wrote:It cropped up again in the Short story serial that appeared in Gamer and Insider.
