how can anyone who studies ships not be a Battleship Fan? I've been to the North Carolina and that was a bad ass ship(and it wasn't even an Iowa Class!) I bought a nice model of the ship and a cool pewter paperweight.

As I said, I do have my history books
Our cruisers were not suitable for New Zealands peacetime work, they were almost obsolete, required too many men. Also it was felt that they were foisted on us by Britain because they wanted a cruiser or three in this part of the world without paying for it themselfs.

??? you mean Exeter? that was a British vessel. We did try to get the Achillies back from India, but enough money could not be raised in time, so we only got one turret {with guns} back. Shame that.

That ship had a better record for holding togather in combat than the Enterprise-nil.
