The scariest folk song lyrics are "My Boy Grew up to be just like me" from cats in the cradle by Harry Chapin
First Vote mine! And the winner is.... MARVIN!!!!!!

Bah! Marvin is the alien God, as such he wins. You've gotta be EVIL to want to destroy a planet for no better reason than it obstructs your view... And considering he had a small artillary sized piece of equipment that could wipe out a planet... oh yes... Marvin wins...

In 1898, Herbert George Wells wrote what is arguably the most important novel in the history of science fiction. The War Of The Worlds established a benchmark for a whole subset of the genre, that of an alien invasion of the Earth.
Less than 50 years later,1938 to be exact Orson Welles set a radio drama of the book in the real life American town of Grover's Mill and set in motion a genuine mass panic in America...who thought the invasion was real...this surely has to win the prize!!

Marvin.
The sign on the gum-dispenser-looking thing says "10,000 Martians just add water". And let's not forget Rupert (was it?), his right arm, er, dog.Ghost Rider wrote:Not only that has insta Bird minions.

Besides, as an HAB member you have to vote for Marvin, the others have mech wannabe stuff. And you wouldn't be a true HAB if you voted for something with spindly legs.Chardok wrote:Illudium "Pew-36" Explosive space modulator>stupid spider droid thingys.

Marvin, cause only one thing in the universe can contend with Duck Dodgers.
WE, however, do meddle in the affairs of others.

Just how was the Illudium-pu-35 (whatever) going to blow up Earth anyway? Didn't Marvin just stick it in the end of his telescope?
Still i voted Marvin because he appeared in the Simpsons X-Files alien line up!

As great as Marvin is, I have just one word.
ULLAH!
ULLAH!
I believe she took two down. One with her guns and the other after going to ramming speed. I may be wrong.Frank Hipper wrote:In addition, she took one of the mecha scum down beforehand. The Yosemite Bear wrote:truely the sacrifice of the valiant "Thunderchilde" doth rock.
Huzzah for Thunderchild!
I like all of those listed plus some that aren't like the Orson Welles' radio play.
I think I have to go with the 1950's "tripods" (they didn't actually fly but moved on electromagnetic "legs". I just love the sound of the heat ray warming up and then letting rip. The disintegrator ray was cool too. Plus, the movie had the flying wing drop a nuke on some of the Martian ships and they survived it.
