I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

I wonder why the prosecutor didn't go for that charge?

The murder was premeditated, especially brutal, and would seem to be a hate crime as the victim was targetted based on his religious beliefs.

Looks like a DP eligible case to me.
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."- General Sir Charles Napier

Double Penetration eligible? He's going to get a lot of that in prison anyway.

Oh, wait, you mean "death penalty".

Anyway, they should just treat this case like any other hate crime that ends up with the target dying, even if there's some giant fuss over it.

As I said before, Islam is a religion of peace. Peices of body parts all over the place that is.
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.

But it was a Muslim Arab, not an evil white man killing a black guy or a heterosexual killing a homosexual.

So the shrieking PC fanatics are silent. Fuck them.

What do you think about the likelihood of a religious, cultural and political Reformation in dar al-Islam stemming from regime change in Afghanistan and Iraq?

I supported both interventions but I don't know if it's possible.
