Yeah, the battle where GA Pitta holds off GA Grungers fleet with a TS. Grunger rammed it with his SSD (Aggressor), both died in the process. If the TS was weak, that wouldn't be necessary.

This assumes that the Torpedo Sphere didn't have support, which I find highly unlikely given Grunger's fleet.

It doesn't make any difference. Why did Pitta pick the TS as his flagship if a mere VSD could take it out? Why would Grunger ram the Aggressor into it, defiantly taking Pitta with him, if a few TL shots could do it? Shouldn't the Aggressor have been able to wipe it out in the opening of the battle? Clearly the TS is not as weak as suggested.
